About this riff
Redline Chapel is an eight-bar classic rock riff in standard tuning: Classic hard rock, D minor, driving, fifth-string roots. This is level 1 of 3, played at 110 bpm; the three levels of the riff run from 110 to 150 bpm. It works on palm muting, power chords, vibrato. The player loops the riff with drums and bass, starts at 70% speed and steps up 5% after every clean pass until you play it at full tempo.
Part A is steady palm-muted eighths with a quarter-note accent; keep every downstroke even. In part B, slide your hand up to the tenth fret and play the melody with your index and ring fingers.
